I bought this 1991 Dodge Dakota from Lee Tsuffis of Karmart Mitsubishi in Burlington. I paid $2,500 (+tax) for it. I bought it to replace my old and worn out '71 Ford 3/4 ton, Thor, the Beast.

It was the first time I have ever purchased a vehicle from a dealership. I thought he was okay, if a little exuberant at times. After the sale I asked him how much they made on the deal and he said $300. I don't know if he was telling the truth or not, but I thought it was a fair deal. He found a jack for me since it was missing, and he even came to my house and brought me back to the dealership to get it when the safety inspection was done.

Grrrrrind screeee thunk! FUCK! The water pump self-destructed on the way back from work. I had thought the intermittent grinding I had heard was the throwout bearing, but with a cloud of steam and losing power steering and alternator proved different. Only $40 for a new pump and a gallon of coolant, but a few hours to replace as the water pump is mounted behind all the other accessory brackets. There's a photo in the gallery.
